BORROWDALE FELL RUNNING CLUB
The club was set up to pursue
a common interest in fell running. This is still the principal activity
of the club, although teams are now entered also in cross country and
road races.
Most of the members of the club live outside the Borrowdale Valley but
it is very much a Cumbrian club.
Borrowdale Fell Runners have won the senior men's British Championship
seven times out of the last eight years. The senior men's English Championship
has been won by Borrowdale Fell Runners for the last six years.
In addition to competing, members are also involved in organising three
races in the Borrowdale Valley and one just over the hill. Members train
together when it is convenient to do so, usually in small groups

GROSS RUDE RUNNING
Weve run with them, near them or seen them doing their thing from
afar. They are the runners exhibiting the rude, gross behaviour none
of us wants to see. Interested in joining their club? Heres how
you do it:
